Key Features:
Ability to observe the retina even through a small pupil (down to 2 mm) without additional dilation;
Smooth adjustment of the viewing angle allows observation of the retina from any convenient perspective;
Built-in halogen lamp provides light close to the natural daylight spectrum.
Ergonomic Design:
The mirror rotates very smoothly, and two connectors allow the power cable to be connected from either side of the head mount. The power supply unit can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall. For convenient observation of symptoms of various conditions, built-in UV, blue, and green (Red-free) filters are included. They can be easily switched using a special control.
Special Features of the Neitz IO-a Ophthalmoscope:
By simultaneously rotating the corresponding controls (for viewing angle and illuminated field size), both the viewing angle and illuminated area can be smoothly adjusted. Even with a small pupil size, full illumination of the examination area can be achieved.
By rotating these controls separately, an elliptical examination area can be formed (both vertical and horizontal), which is especially useful when examining the periphery.
With devices where the illumination and observation optics move only together, viewing certain areas of the retina may be difficult.
Complete Set Includes:
Neitz IO-a ophthalmoscope, power supply unit, sterilizable scleral depressor, teaching mirror (allows an observer to see the same image as the examining physician), forms for recording examination results, carrying case
